Comedy Under the Stars Debuts June 10th with Dennis Gaxiola

The Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) and Sacramento’s Laughs Unlimited are pleased to present comedian Dennis Gaxiola on Friday, June 10th.  This special outdoor performance will be held at Laguna Town Hall (3020 Renwick Avenue).  This is the first of three Comedy Under the Stars events to be held this summer.

A Sacramento-native of Mexican heritage, Gaxiola is a veteran performer with appearances around the nation and overseas.  He has taken the stage at The Punchline, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Ice House, The Improv and even the legendary Apollo Theater in New York City.

Dennis has been able to perform with some of the best comedians in the business including Jamie Foxx, Damon Wayons and Paul Rodriquez. When describing Gaxiola, Rodriguez compares him to comedian Dennis Miller. "Dennis Gaxiola does the more political stuff," said Rodriguez. "He does a lot of bits that are very timely right now about immigration and the choices America has to make."

Comedy Under the Stars is intended for an adult audience only.  Seating begins at 6:00 pm. The show will begin at 8:00 pm.  Cost is $10 in advance or $12 per person at the door.  Bring a picnic dinner, low back lawn chair, blanket and jacket.
