Rex Navarette at the Mandalay Bay Theatre during Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley weekend in viva Las Vegas...

~arrival~

i checked in my Mandalay Bay suite with my entourage (my mom and dad my aunt and her friend) at about 7:00 PM... freshened up and was summoned to rex's room at 8:15 PM...

this is tony...he was our security guard for the evening...our muscle...

he took us to the mandalay bay theatre through side doors and secret elevators...through secret tunnels and passage ways of the hotel...

we passed through the under belly of this great hotel, an underground city for employees...

our first stop was the storage area for the broadway production, The Lion King....this is backstage of the 1700-seat mandalay bay theatre...

this is Moonie, rex's buddy...

tony gave us the ok to screw around for awhile with the props and masks...

...then it was off to the greenroom...1/2 hour till showtime.

...rex signing posters before the show.

dude to the left is don...manadalay bay's entertainment promoter...he just told us paquiao and his wife, jinkee were coming to the show and they may stop by the greenroom.

...i think i pissed my pants!!

but unfortunately, he was a no show.

after the show...rex with my mom and dad.

rex with my las vegas familia...

my friends, Ana, Pancho and Pina...they drove all the way from Sacramento to support (10 hour drive).

on the strip...

fight night!!

Rex was kind enough to give me a pass to the Mandalay Bay Event Center to watch the closed circuit feed on the big screen...

met Mia St John...a don king boxer and she was on the cover of playboy...

next, stage time at the L.A. Comedy Club at the 4 Queens Hotel and Casino...

...headlining, Adam Hunter.

a big thanks to matt at the LA comedy club, tony and don at Mandalay Bay and especially Rex...thanks for letting me be part of the weekend!!
