Slanted Comedy

Slanted Comedy is the longest running premier Asian show on the scene today. It was first introduced at the Hollywood Improv September 1, 2005 by Edwin San Juan, and is now produced by executive produced by Mike Abara AKA Black Mike in Southern California & Alex Retodo in Northern California. Slanted Comedy brings you a showcase of Asian comics with a long list of credits from Comedy Central, BET, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Showtime, HBO, The Late Late Show, Lopez Tonight, Last Call With Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and the list keeps growing. Numerous celebrities have also dropped in and performed at Slanted Comedy shows. Slanted Comedy to new heights and it’s just going to keep getting better. Slanted Comedy wants to let everyone know that Asians-Americans are funny and talented too. Asian-American performers need their night and it is finally here. In 2009 Slanted gets picked up by Showtime but to be politically correct, TV execs decide to change the name of the show to Pacific Rim Comedy...
